NNA - "Future" bloc member, Deputy Ammar Houry, disparaged on Wednesday the logic of "partition and quotas in the oil file," adding that only a new Cabinet should accomplish these decrees for the file to aptly take its course.
He told the "Voice of Lebanon" radio about some previous experiences with the Caretaker Minister of Water and Energy resources, Gebran Bassil, who pledged to carry out electricity-related obligations within two months, but failed to implement them before two years."
"This justifies our lack of confidence," he added.
In response to MP Walid Jumblatt's stance concerning the oil file, he said, "his position is constitutional, because the approval of the caretaker government on any project, is a violation of the Constitution," adding, "Jumblatt actually knows the meaning of constitutional balances and commitment to the constitution."
