NNA - The plot to tear Arab countries apart, continues unabated, House Speaker Nabih Berri warned Arab and Muslim parliamentarians during their meeting in Geneva today.



The plot strives to tear a number of Arab countries simultaneously apart by drenching them all in a bloodbath and embroiling them in an interminable civil strife, he added.



The tempest blowing now from Morocco via Libya and Egypt and far-reaching to Iraq must be stopped by all those Arabs and Muslims concerned with the wellbeing and stability in the Arab World, Berri told Algerian and Kuwaiti and other interlocutors.



Berri, who favored a political conflict-resolution in Syria, warned against the likelihood of Israel dividing al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem between Palestinians and Jewish settlers; this could be evidenced by intensive Israeli digging under the holy sanctuary, Berri concluded.
