NNA - Missing Ersal soldier Deeb Fleyti, must be immediately freed, angry villagers chanted during their sit-in at the local municipal council today.



The 28-year-old soldier and sole bread-winner for a couple of families went missing for 2 weeks now while returning from leave with no word as per his whereabouts yet, protesters added. Most probably, he disappeared in Beirut southern suburb where all contact with got lost, they said.



We Ersal folks who sacrifice our sons in defense of the country beseech you to reveal his fate and allay our fears and worries by releasing any information deemed heartening for us, they concluded.
