NNA - MP Ibrahim Kanaan said the cabinet issue requires a Lebanese initiative relevant to the cabinet formation process, indicating that "we should not wait for foreign lights as big conditions can be easily removed by a small regional move."
Kanaan's fresh stance came Tuesday in the context of the regular weekly meeting for the Bloc of Reform and Change.
Kanaan said, "Let us locally identify priorities and work on implementing them."
Turning to the displaced persons file, Kanaan said the displaced issue must be solved by taking action and closing the Lebanese borders behind the displacement move.
Kanaan also called for the necessity of committing to Baabda Declaration and the disassociation policy by thoroughly controlling the Lebanese Syrian borders.
Concerning the drowned ferry of Indonesia, Kanaan said the passengers on board the ferry were feeling despair as they passed away. He wondered, "Where are people's rights?"
