NNA - Member of Parliament, Michel Pharaon, reiterated trust in the President of the Republic Michel Sleiman and Premier- Designate Tammam Salam to take the initiative, break the deadlock and the danger of reaching vacuum by forming a new cabinet within the possible formulas, without provocation and without being subject to impossible conditions.



Pharaon said that the latest international conference in New York and the meetings and discussions which President Suleiman had carried out exceeded in their importance the Syrian refugees' issue and the security and social burden that it exerts upon Lebanon.



He confirmed that the outcome of the conference reflected the international interest in Lebanon's stability, saying that this interest and Sleiman's ongoing work should be translated on ground through reactivating the work of the constitutional institutions, starting from the formation of a new cabinet that accompanies the international moves via governmental and diplomatic channels.



The MP stressed the need to support the Army by all means to carry out its duties without any attempts to control its work or distort its image.



"The army should stay the security guarantee for all the Lebanese," he said, calling for fortifying the Army's security plan, in cooperation with all security apparatuses, in all Lebanese regions.



Pharaon expressed sorrow for the attacks in many Syrian regions against Christian symbols.
