NNA - Lebanese Democratic Gathering Leader, Displaced Minister Talal Arslan, on Thursday stepped up calls for an urgent meeting that gathers Druze sect MPs and Ministers to discuss what he described as the Druze dwindling participation in the state authority.

"It's a shame to surrender to the prevailing reality of the Druze participation in the authority," Arslan said, warning that surrendering to this bitter reality "is a threat to the Druze active participation in the national system."

Arslan also regretted the flurry of sectarianism nationwide, and called on MP Walid Jumblatt to initiate by calling for the aforementioned meeting as soon as possible.
