NNA - Syrian President Bashar Assad expressed high appreciation of Russia's support for his country in the face of the "fierce attack" and "Takfiri terrorism," as reported by state-run SANA agency Wednesday.



He said Russia's positions gave hope to create a new world balance.



He made these remarks during his meeting today with Russia Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
