NNA - Pope François reiterated calls on Wednesday for adopting dialogue and negotiations to end the war in Syria.



During the general gathering at St. Peter's Square at the Vatican, Pope Francis said that his thoughts were mainly with the Syrian population, and that the human tragedy could only be resolved through dialogue and negotiation.



The supreme pontiff encouraged efforts for a diplomatic and political solution for the hotbed of war in the world.
