NNA - President Michel Sleiman on Tuesday said that forming a government has become an urgent matter to take care of citizens' daily social affairs.



The President addressed Lebanese leaders, calling on them to down the ceiling of their demands in order to form a national unity government inclusive of all parties.



Besides, Sleiman convened today at Baabda palace with the caretaker Environment Minister Nazem Khoury.



He then met with UNIFIL Commander, General Paolo Serra, who informed the President on the situation in South Lebanon and the constant cooperation between LAF and the UNIFIL.



Sleiman convened afterwards with a delegation of the Gathering of Christians in the Levant headed by Bishop Samir Mazloum.


The delegation handed Sleiman with an invitation to attend the conference of the Christians of the Levant, to be held on October 25 at the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarchate in Rabweh.
