NNA - Outgoing Minister of Health, Ali Hassan Khalil, called Sunday for speeding up the formation of a new unity government, which would represent all political parties in order to immunize the domestic political scene.



The minister, who sponsored a ceremony in Meis el Jabal in South Lebanon in honor of the students who passed the official examinations, urged political leaders to discuss the latest initiative launched by the Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, in all wisdom and responsibility away from reactions and narrow calculations.



On the Syrian crisis, the minister stressed the categorical refusal of his political party of any military intervention in Syria, noting that such a strike would affect Lebanon as well.
