NNA - Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Milagros Hernando, held out hope Thursday that a likely military attack on Syria would not take place--as menaced by the US, stressing that the political solution is the best means to solve crisis in the war-torn country.



She warned of fiddly and disastrous reverberations on all economic, social, and humanitarian levels, if Syria ever stricken.



The envoy made these remarks during a tour she effectuated in the Bekaa region of Zahle today, meeting the invitation of Archbishop Yuhanna Darwich.



She pledged continuous cooperation with the region's infrastructure utilities, including ailing hospitals and social care centers.



She did not fail to deplore the aids provided by the international community to displaced Syrians in Lebanon as "insufficient amid the current circumstances."
