NNA - Minister of Information Melhem Riachi on Friday said that the bylaw on medical ethics has become a part of the broad media law currently present at the table of the parliamentary media committee.

"The bylaw on medical ethics shall not be issued as a separate law but rather integrated within the broad spectrum media law," Minister Riachi said in his address at the inaugural ceremony of the 25th Ophthalmology Conference at the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut, representing President of the Republic General Michel Aoun.

The Conference is organized by the "Lebanese Ophthalmology Association" under the patronage of President Michel Aoun.

Head of the Beirut Order of Physicians, Raymond Sayegh, and scores of Lebanese ophthalmologists and experts from France and the USA attended said conference.

Riachi then toured along with attending doctors among an exhibition showcasing the latest technologies in the field of ophthalmology.
