NNA - "Kataeb" bloc member, Deputy Elie Marouni, said on Monday "yesterday's (Sunday) incident at Riyad Solh was the beginning of a larger revolution."

He called on the Lebanese authority to address the Lebanese livelihood issues and to support them.

"People are suffering from hunger, oppression in light of the absence of employment opportunities and difficult living conditions," the MP told the "Voice of Lebanon" radio.

Marouni confirmed Kataeb's rejection to the tax hikes and full support to the approval of the salary scale, calling on Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, to receive the file and invite the General Assembly in a bid to approve it.
