AlRai offers condolences for Tripoli's martyrs

NNA - Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bshara Butros Al-Rai, paid a visit to Tripoli on Sunday, where he offered sincerest condolences over the innocent victims who fell in last Friday's explosions.

The Patriarch also took part in receiving condolences over fallen martyrs, held at Rashid Karami International Exhibition Hall in Tripoli, upon an invitation by Dar El-Fatwa, and Tripoli, Mina and Beddawi Municipalities and Islamic Associations.

"Isn't the bloodshed by the innocent victims of Ruweis and Tripoli enough for us to sit around the table of dialogue and reconcile," questioned Al-Rai, in a touching eulogizing word in memory of the lost victims.

Al-Rai urged all politicians to rise to the national responsibility they shoulder at such a difficult phase; pleading with their conscience to come together in solidarity and unity for the sake of rescuing the country from the catastrophes confronting it.

Al-Rai raised prayers to the Lord to protect Lebanon and the Lebanese, and to preserve the nation from all dangers surrounding it, so that Lebanon can prosper through the unity of its people and the sacrifices of all fallen martyrs and innocent victims.
