NNA - Upon an official invitation extended to March 14 by the Chinese Communist Party, a delegation headed by Fares S'ayd, held a series of meetings with state officials lasting for 3 days. Discussions centered on the conflict in Syria against the backdrop of the Arab Spring with both sides apparently sticking to their respective positions.



Having conferred with Chinese Foreign ministry official Wu-Tzhunhwa over Chinese Middle Eastern policy, head of the visiting March 14 delegation S'ayd condemned Bashar Assad's genocidal war against "his" people and called for an international intervention to end the Syrian tragedy and its negative repercussions on Lebanon.



March 14 visitors tried to put bombings at home within the perspective of Bashshar's attempts to divert attention from the genocide his army had just perpetrated in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus where deadly Sarin gas was deployed.
