NNA - Member of Future parliamentary bloc, Samir Jisr, called Sunday on Lebanese political forces to make compromises for Lebanon and to uphold the interest of the nation above all other considerations.
Jisr read a statement after meeting with leaders of Future Movement in Tripoli, in the presence of MP Bahia Hariri, stressing the vitality of working in close cooperation with the security services, urging them to establish a security plan for the city, one that takes into account effective measures of protecting places of worship and the streets of the northern capital.
The statement finally called for expediting damage assessment and payment of compensation to victims in the last two attacks in Tripoli.
