NNA - Amal Movement MP, Hani Qobeissi, said Sunday during a funeral ceremony in south Lebanon that the car bombs which targeted Ruwais and Tripoli bore the fingerprints of the evil Zionist plan which is trying to destroy Lebanon and the Arab world, warning against a blatant attempt at igniting a Sunni-Shiite war.


The failure to form a strong cabinet left the country and its security apparatuses without any political cover and exposed to terror. Qobeissi held all politicians responsible for current state of affairs, and called upon them to live up to their national role, otherwise their actions were as explosive as those car bombs.


"From Ruwais to Tripoli, from Damascus to Baghdad the policy remains the same, it is the policy of murder and mayhem, it is the Zionist plan for a new Middle East with the goal of breaking down the culture of defiance and resilience."
