NNA - Caretaker Minister of Environment, Nazem Khoury, sternly condemned Friday the deadly blasts in the northern city of Tripoli, which he deemed as being part of a scheme aimed to drag Lebanon into strife.
"These ambulant explosions from Dahiyeh to Tripoli do not target a sect per se, but rather the entire nation," he said in a statement.
"They prompt us, today more than any time before, to meet the calls of the President of the Republic, Michel Sleiman, to [hold] national dialogue and abide by Baabda Declaration, in protection of Lebanon, as well as of its security and stability," he concluded.
