NNA - Outgoing Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, vehemently condemned the deadly explosions that targeted two mosques in Tripoli Thursday and claimed the lives of at least 12 prayers.
"The hand of criminality targeted again the city of Tripoli today in a clear message aimed to plant strife and drag Tripoli and its cons into reactions. But Tripoli and its sons will prove again that they are stronger than the conspiracy and that they will not allow strife to weaken their determination and faith in God and the nation," Mikati, himself a Tripoli native, said in a statement.
"We promise our sons and brothers in Tripoli that we stay by their side especially at this critical time," the Prime Minister, who was outside Lebanon at the moment of the blasts, concluded.
