Hariri condemns AlGhouta massacre: History will have no mercy on the murderers

NNA - Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri issued the following statement:

"No words can describe the massacre inflicted by Bashar Assad's forces on hundreds of children, women and innocent Syrian civilians in the (Al-Ghouta) suburb of Damascus, except that it is worse than what a human mind can produce, like other horrible massacres in Human history, since the days of Hulagu and Hitler, the massacres of Rwanda, Burundi and Bosnia, to the massacres of the Haganah in Palestine and Sabra and Shatila.

The problem does not lie in Bashar Assad alone, who lost any human feeling towards his people, but also in the international community which is allowing the Damascus murderer to persist in committing massacres and systematically destroying the Syrian cities and their history. The worst is that there are, among the Arabs and the Muslims, some who are covering these murders and participating in them, and are not moved, neither morally nor by brotherly feelings, by the horrible images reported by the media, from Ghouta in Damascus to all over the world.

We reiterate our solidarity with the oppressed Syrian people and our condemnation of the crimes of Bashar Assad, and call upon the international community to shoulder its responsibility once and for all and stop the policies of inaction towards what the regime is committing. We warn some Lebanese who insist on getting involved in the ongoing genocide in Syria that history will have no mercy for the murderers and killers and will certainly not grant any certificates of moral and human innocence to Bashar's accomplices in burning Syria".
