NNA - Deputy Bassem al-Shabb said on Sunday that preserving the coalition between Future Bloc and the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) was more precious than losing some seats in the parliament.

"The period of [discussing] the electoral law will pass peacefully between both President Aoun and [PM] Hariri," MP al-Shabb added.

The Deputy, whose words came during an interview on Voice of Lebanon radio station, expressed positivity regarding the electoral law discussions, noting that the new law that would be adopted would be based on the mixed law. The lawmaker expected a delay in the parliamentary elections for two or three months.
