NNA - The man who was killed during a family dispute in the Zahle town of Kfarzabad earlier this evening turned out to be a member of the military, the Lebanese army clarified in a communiqué Saturday night.



"This evening, a clash erupted between members of one family in Kfarzabad in Bekaa, whereby one man shot cartridges from a military weapon and another opened fire from a hunting rifle on one soldier and immediately killed him," the communiqué read.



An army unit rushed to the scene and restored calm to the region.



Pursuit after culprits is still underway in order to apprehend them and hand them to justice.
