NNA - President Michel Sleiman said to his Baabda visitors Saturday that efforts must intensify to form a cabinet that includes everyone and has immense support.


"It is important to rectify the paths and return to the commitment to Baabda Declaration which form an umbrella of national security and a safety net to all those it covers and strengthen them against any...foreign stance," said Sleiman.


Today's Baabda visitors included former Minister Ziad Barroud, who updated the President on the final stages of a project law on administrative decentralization.


The President of the Republic also received the new administrative delegation of the Committee of Lebanese Ambassadors Forum headed by Ambassador Khalil Mekawi.


The new Council of the Union of Doctors of the North, headed by Dr. Elie Habib visited Baabda today.


Sleiman met with a delegation from the Municipalities Union of Kesserwan Fotouh and the Municipal Council of Zouk Mikael, who invited him to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of Zouk Mikael Municipality on October 25 next year.
