NNA - Former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora spoke on Saturday at the Hilton Hotel during the conference on "Immunization of the Taef Agreement and the discussion of constitutional gaps".

He said that "without alternatives to the Taef Agreement, Lebanon will plunge into a state of chaos", stressing that full implementation of the stipulations of the agreement could limit the need to resort to amendments.

"This document has played an essential role in ending the civil war ... and must be taken into consideration as it adopts the formula of coexistence," Siniora said.
