NNA - Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP, Sayyed Hussein Moussawi, on Wednesday issued a statement in which he heaped praise on the Lebanese Army's dauntless endeavors safeguarding national borders, sovereignty, and independence.



"The anniversary of our beloved Army is also an anniversary that's celebrated by our nation and free resisting people," Moussawi said in his statement.



The lawmaker did not fail to salute the "national Army's continuous mission facing the Zionist enemy's greediness in Lebanese land, water, and natural wealth."



Moussawi also lashed out at those he deemed as "outwitting" others by saying "if you love the army, then hand it your weapons."



He said that the right way of saying this was, "if you love your army, then provide it with weapons."



Moussawi noted that if this was to happen, it would finally break a will by the U.S. prohibiting attempts to furnish the Lebanese Army with the much-needed army supplies.



He finally noted that such an eventuality would only complement the power of the resistance, and hence, deter any aggression against Lebanon.
