NNA - Head of Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea, said that General Michel Aoun could not be "Iran's arm in the Lebanese authority and Speaker Nabih Berri's strong opposition to him is a clear proof on that," adding that General Aoun "is a pragmatic person whose main concern is to let the presidency succeed."

Geagea's stance came Monday in the context of an interview with Egyptian CBC channel.

"General Aoun's pragmatism will annoy Hezbollah," said Geagea, who confirmed that the forthcoming prime minister would be Saad Hariri "and of course the Lebanese Forces will be within the equation."
