NNA - Damascus sternly denounced the fresh assassination of Syrian state media commentator Mohammad Darrar Jamo, assassinated early Wednesday at his residence in the South Lebanon region of Sarafand.



"We sternly condemn this assassination and we hold the obscurantist forces fully responsible for this legal, ethical, and political crime," a statement issued by the Ministry of Information and broadcast by state-run news agency SANA read.



The Ministry called the Lebanese authorities to investigate this crime to indentify and sue culprits.
