NNA - Deputy Ghassan Mkheiber, said that the problem in the country is the confusion between the political and the constitutional discussion, adding that "the political parties do not engage in dialogue as communication among them is only through the media."



"The House of Representatives should be the place for dialogue," the MP told Voice of Lebanon- Freedom and Dignity - radio on Wednesday.



The Deputy said that the dialogue table has a confined prerogative limited to the defense strategy, "so it is required to develop all ways to meet and communicate between the parties, in addition to the agreement on the new commander of the Army."



Mkheiber stressed that without a strong Army we could not be able to reach to a defense strategy, calling on the political forces to enhance the military capabilities and to agree on naming the commander of the Army.



The MP said that the Parliament should not continue in this state of disruption and it must reach an agreement on a new Cabinet capable of solving most of the problems.



"The caretaker Cabinet has the prerogative to take necessary decisions for the continuation of the work of the institutions," Mkheiber concluded.
