Fri 07 Oct 2016 at 13:22 Politics
NNA - Former President, Michel Sleiman, said on Friday that "Hezbollah should go to parliament and elect a president."

Sleiman said following his meeting with Patriarch Beshara Rai at Bkirki that discussions touched on the basket deal, adding, "our visit is to support Bkirki's call."

He noted that the bishop's call has stirred the presidential dossier, hoping to reach an end regarding Akoura and Lasa issue.

"The president should commit to one issue which is to implement Baabda Declaration and not the basket," Sleiman concluded.
