Homayed stigmatizes attempts to paralyze state institutions

NNA - Member of the Amal movement, Ayoub Homayed, criticized political factions blocking state institutions in Lebanon, including the Parliament.

Homayed, who gave a speech at a ceremony organized by the Amal Movement in southern Lebanon, said that some wanted to turn the Lebanese scene into a hotbed of tension and a starting point for plots against Syria.

The member in this context expressed his appreciation of the military, which undergoes campaigns to obliterate its national role.

He said that the army has shown wisdom in dealing with tensions on the Lebanese scene, highlighting its efforts against attempts to sow discord among the Lebanese components.

"We have always stated our willingness to question the Lebanese formula resulting from the Taef Agreement, which did not meet our expectations. Our hands are extended to hold dialogue, to create a future in Lebanon where the Lebanese live as citizens, aware of the value of citizenship, away from sectarianism and bigotry, "concluded the deputy.
