NNA - Member of Parliament Selim Salhab described on Thursday the return of Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri to Beirut as a surge of dynamism which broke the stalemate over the presidency file.

"The possibility of electing General Michel Aoun to presidency witnessed progress; however, the file has not been finalized yet," Salhab told "Voice of Lebanon" radio, noting that more communication among political parties is still needed.

The MP explained that Speaker Nabih Berri's position from the election of MP Michel Aoun as president has not been finalized yet, saying "communication between the two men is still going but it has not been fruitful yet."

Responding to a question about the relation with MP Walid Jumblatt, Salhab said that "communication with him (MP Jumblatt) might lead to consensus soon."
