NNA - Hizbullah's main objective is the attainment of a "new constituent assembly" deputy Speaker of the House Farid Mkari, told Voice of Lebanon radio station morning talkshow today.



The party's presence in Abra/Sida is amply substantiated by concrete evidence and documentation, Mkari added. It is rather unfortunate for certain Lebanese (in a clear reference to Hezbollah), to seek an accelerated destabilization of the country through bringing about vital state organs to total paralyses, he went on.



Two conflicting interpretive views of Code# 69 of the Constitution are largely responsible for the present stalemate Mkari added. Mikati and Berri are middle-of-the-roaders albeit, the latter cannot possibly deviate from the Hezbollah line, he retorted. Only a new government is eligible to appoint a successor to officer Reefi or any other official bound for retirement, Mkari concluded.
