NNA - Outgoing Prime Minister Najib Mikati received Monday the Deputy U.S. Secretary of State William Burns, in the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly.
Conferees tackled the general situation and latest developments in the region.
Relations between the two countries also topped Mikati's talks with his American guests.
Mikati later received the Indian Minister of External Affairs with whom he discussed bilateral ties.
He then met with caretaker Minister of Energy and Water Gebran Bassil with whom he discussed ministerial affairs.
