NNA - Member of Parliament Hani Kobeissi stressed the need to preserve Lebanon's entity by committing to important constitutional dates, calling upon all parties to agree on a new election law and seek to form a national unity cabinet.



"Any official, whatever his position is, should provide security and stability to the Lebanese citizens, sovereignty to the state and support the Lebanese Army by all means," Kobeissi said on Monday in a memorial celebration in the south.



Commenting on the Lebanese political situation, Kobeissi said that the real danger is not in postponing the elections, which is a constitutional matter and if not held today, it would be held after few months; explaining that the real danger lies in not defending Lebanon against Israel, which threatens our stability and violates Lebanon's sovereignty.



The MP added that the Lebanese political parties have to preserve Lebanon's entity by agreeing on a new election law and they have to form a national unity cabinet in which all parties are represented in order to preserve Lebanon's stability, maintain civil peace and seek to build Lebanon's strength to face the Israeli enemy.
