NNA - Arab Democratic Party confirmed Wednesday that attacks on Jabal Mohsen were still underway, despite the cease-fire and a plan the Lebanese army had devised just days ago.



The party said sniping operations and bombs tossing were as yet unstopped, "which confirms that the armed groups, known as front commanders, linked to the operations rooms of the Free Syrian Army and al-Nusra Front, do not wish to restore stability in Tripoli."



"The party confirms that the city's politicians and leaders, with their provocative rhetoric, were covering and joining gunmen to keep on bloodshed," the party said in a statement.



It renewed commitment to the army's decisions, calling upon the sons of Tripoli to push gunmen out of the city.



"If these violations against Jabal Mohsen do not stop, things can worsen again," it concluded.
