Geagea commenting on Nasrallah speech: Hezbollah extricated out of national pact

NNA - "Lebanese Forces" Head, Samir Geagea, said that Hezbollah has trespassed the national pact and all set norms, the matter that "threatens Lebanon of a great outburst."

The LF leader's fresh words came in a press conference at his Meerab residence on Wednesday, where he commented on the recent statements by Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah.

Geagea pointed out the existence of "complete split up" between the concepts upon which the State has been built and those of "Hezbollah."

Geagea said that Hezbollah's practices have rendered the Lebanese state a mere "skeleton", where it seized every chance- based on its appropriate view of matters- to munch from the Lebanese state for the benefit of its existence.

"The difference between us [LF] and Hezbollah is no longer solely in policy, but rather fundamental," Geagea said, indicating that they both possess a different visualization of a Lebanese state.

Geagea expressed his conviction that the holding of forthcoming legislative elections on the basis of 1960 poll law stands as the "worst matter."
