NNA - Deputy Khaled Zahraman highlighted the possibility insufficient quorum at the Parliament's session tomorrow (Wednesday), saying agreement over the Orthodox plan is farfetched.
"The Orthodox bill would not pass because insistence on discussing it aims at postponing elections as long as possible," Zahraman said.
The MP confirmed supporting the President of the Republic Michel Sleiman, against the unconstitutionality of the Orthodox bill, hoping Deputies would reach agreement on the hybrid law within the upcoming 24 hours, despite the difficulty of that.
Zahraman wished "Speaker Berri would commit to the sessions legality and would not take the country into a maze of a law that would pave the way to a civil war and would divide Lebanon".
The MP acknowledged that the files of the election law and the cabinet formation are connected and that March 14 position is very critical, warning of the "danger of March 8 threats of a new May 7 if the cabinet did not come according to their size."
