NNA - Druze Sheikh, Naim Hasan, on Tuesday expressed hope that the coming few days would witness positive initiatives towards the formation of a new cabinet, so that Lebanon could hold elections on their set constitutional date.



In a statement issued today, Hassan also wished for a speedy release of the two abducted Aleppian bishops, Boulos Yaziji and Youhana Ibrahim.



"We hope all the killing and bloodshed would soon come to an end in way which attains the aspirations of the Syrian people -- with a promising and democratic tomorrow."



The Druze Sheikh did not fail to condemn the Israeli fresh raids on Syria, deeming such acts an outright violation of the Syrian nation's sovereignty.



"We call on the International Community to deter such aggressive acts," said Hassan.
