NNA - Member of Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, Nawaf Moussawi, said that the utmost peril that threatens Lebanon is the "extremist thinking takfirie" that opposes Lebanese pluralism.


The MP spoke Monday in southern Lebanon during the commemoration of the martyrdom of a member of Hezbollah.



"Lebanon is based on the acceptance of the other, of any religion, be it religious and partisan," he recalled.



"Those who call on us to avoid sectarian strife should stop funding extremist groups, which are aimed at sowing unrest, dividing the region and to destroying Lebanon."
