NNA - Kataeb MP Samer Saade said on Tuesday that his party had reminded since the beginning of the importance to keep Lebanon aloof from the crisis in Syria.
"We support the Syrian revolution, but we refuse to intervene in this country's affairs. But the problem lies in the attitude of Hezbollah, which torpedoed the Baabda declaration by its military cross-border intervention," he told the Orient radio.
The MP called on Lebanon to immunize Lebanon against all regional threats.
He further discussed the presence of more than one million Syrian refugees in Lebanon, stressing the role of the Lebanese government in monitoring the case.
"The Lebanese government is expected to establish an assistantship plan, however, the establishment of refugee camps remains the best choice," he said.
