NNA - "Political competition is necessary for preserving democracy; however, national and existential priorities are not prone for dispute or differences," said Change and Reform Parliamentary Bloc Member, Ibrahim Kanaan, on Sunday.

"Whenever we are united together for the sake of our community and nation, we can achieve whatever we aspire for," added Kanaan, speaking to parish members of "Saint Elie Church" in Zouk Khrab-Dbayyeh, following thanksgiving Mass.

"We are working for the sake of Christian unity, and for a Lebanese partnership," Kanaan went on, adding that "efforts are focused on ensuring political, developmental and social rights to citizens as our duty within a state of partnership."
