NNA - Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Mikhail Bogdanov, arrived Thursday in Beirut, coming from Istanbul.



Speaking at Rafic Hariri International Airport upon arrival, Bogdanov, whose visit lasts till Sunday, confirmed Russia's permanent support for Lebanon and for stability.



But he indicated that the situation in the region was still difficult and complicated.



"We will discuss all these matters with officials," he said.
