NNA - Member of Parliament Michel Moussa stressed the need nowadays to find a new election law through bilateral communications which replaced the parliamentary communication committee to explore a new election law.
"In case positive signs were seen, General Assembly will convene at any time; otherwise, the Assembly's session is on 15 May 2013," Moussa told "Voice of Lebanon- Dbayeh" radio on Thursday, saying after 15 May the Assembly's meetings will take place consecutively until reaching a consensual election law.
Moussa said that 1960 law is rejected and a new law of fair representation should be found, saying that any present formula under discussion is awaiting the approval of the General Assembly.
The MP noted the existence of danger in case the assembly failed to approve any bill.
Commenting on the parliamentary Human Rights committee's meeting in which the displaced Syrians' file was discussed, Moussa said that the meeting was to study the humanitarian and health situation of the displaced.
Moussa ruled out the possibility of any "approach to establish camps", noting that Lebanon's old experience in this issue demands being very cautious.
