NNA - Free Patriotic Movement MP, Farid el-Khazen, said on Sunday that his bloc suspended its participation in the meetings of the government because of political malevolence exercised these days, especially in the matter of appointment of military officials.

In his remarks during an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio, blocking the way for the appointment of General Chamel Roukoz as LAF commander proved ill-will and the determination to isolate Christians from power.

The MP said the FPM refused to become a scapegoat and silent observer of political corruption.
