NNA - Deputy Ali Khreiss considered the current period Lebanon is going through as the most critical and difficult of all phases.


"We are living in a world of wolves, especially at the level of changes and transformations in the region," said MP Khreiss during a memorial ceremony held in the town of Aitit on Sunday.


Khreiss stressed on the national constants, which can never be relinquished or compromised. "We believe in defending and safeguarding our national unity, whereby all strife plots against us remain mere illusions that can never weaken us," added Khreiss.


He highlighted the important role of a government of consensus, which solely has the chance to rule. "Lebanon can only be governed by solidarity and partnership between all sides in the country," noted Khreiss. Hence, he stressed the need for a consensus cabinet to be able to meet all responsibilities and face all dangers and challenges awaiting it.
