NNA - Head of Future parliamentary bloc, Fouad Siniora, said Tuesday he supported Prime Minister designate, Tammam Salam, hoping a new government would be soon formed to pave the way for the legislative polls.



"I believe the matter is in safe hands," Siniora said in reference to the government formation.



On the Syrian aggressions along borders with Lebanon, Siniora hailed the decisions taken yesterday during Baabda security meeting, to file a related complaint before the Arab League and the Security Council.



As condemning these aggressions, Siniora did not fail to hold the Syrian regime responsible for the current tension, which he deemed likely to harm Lebanon.



"This is something that we do not accept or bear," he said.



Siniora made these remarks during an inspection tour he effectuated today in Sidon to check a number of developmental projects.
