NNA - Deputy House Speaker, Farid Makari, said Monday that Prime Minister designate Tammam Salam is part of March 14 forces and that his political stances comply with this camp's principles.



He said that Salam's designation to form Lebanon's next government made sense amid the current juncture in Lebanon.



"We consider that Tammam Saeb Salam is a good choice for this stage and this juncture. Tammam Salam has national and solid stances. He is a personality that is at the core of the Sunni street and the heir of prestigious and historical political legacy," Makari told an interview with Al-Yawm Saudi newspaper.



"Salam is a symbol of moderation at a time of sharp alignments (...) he is accepted by all," he maintained.



Besides, Makari reckoned that the regional changes and the position of National Struggle Front Head, MP Walid Jumblatt, drove March 8 camp to Okay Salam's designation.
