NNA - Member of Parliament Yassine Jaber said that it is important to form a new cabinet that enjoys the trust of the different parliamentary blocs to be able to succeed in carrying out its mission.
"Parliamentary blocs have the intention to ease the Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam mission to form the new cabinet," Jaber told "Voice of Lebanon" Dbayeh on Friday, wishing the new cabinet to be a consensus one.
Responding to a question whether discussions started over names as published, Jaber said that "the names mentioned in media are to burn the persons who hold them", ruling out that Prime Minister-designate Salam had a pre-prepared formation.
"Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam's interest lies in forming his cabinet quickly, especially if it is to oversee the elections," Jaber said, adding that Salam would be very careful before taking any decision in this regard because the country cannot tolerate waiting for long.
