NNA - Future bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat said on Thursday that the 1960's electoral law was "not burried" as some sides suggested.
"Nothing will replace this law but a new one -- if there exsit a pure will we will reach a consensual bill," the MP said, noting the MP Walid Jumblatt is very serious about the hybrid law proposal.
He also lashed at those he described as "dreaming of a new Taef and differnt scenarios to bog the nation down in absolute void."
"The Free Patriotic Movement and Hezbollah are the main problem," Fataft said, wondering whether both sides have a genuine will to reach a consensual law.
