NNA - We shall strive to boost bilateral media cooperation, Hassan Falha of the ministry of Information told a visiting Chinese radio and television delegation in his welcoming address at Beirut International Airport today.
Falha aspired to see bilateral media relations elevated to present political and economic levels of cooperation.
Taking the word Chinese delegation head Lee Wei expressed need for widening the scope of bilateral cooperation to encompass "comprehensive excellent relations." Wei singled out news exchange and cinematic documentary production as a potential venue to be explored.
The Chinese SARFT delegation, currently on a 2-day official visit to Beirut will be signing a cooperation protocol designed to benefit both Lebanese radio and TV stations. SAFT also comprises SMG Shanghai Media Group and International Channel of Shanghai (ICS).
