NNA - Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awadh Asseri saw that the developments in the region and the prevailing tension require more awareness and wisdom among the Lebanese people to ward off the dangers and provide a model for other countries for dialogue, understanding and unity as well as for cohesion and conviviality.



The Ambassador made these remarks in the wake of his Bkirki meeting with the Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi with whom he skimmed through various local and regional topics.



Asseri solicited all Lebanese officials, politicians, party members and citizens to cling to the concept of coexistence and always put national interest above all considerations.



Later on, Rahi received Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister, Samir Moqbel, former Minister Jean Obeid, the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Guiseppe Morabito, and others.
